About SMB Stack

What this is

SMB Stack lists 366 software tools for small businesses across 29 categories, with what each one costs a team your size. It is for owners in the US, UK, Canada and Australia choosing tools for money, people and customers. You don’t need an account, and we don’t ask for your email. SMB Stack is run by SMB Sites.

How we make money

Some “Visit site” links are partner links. If you click one and buy, the vendor may pay us a commission. It costs you nothing extra. Right now 109 of the 366 tools have one, mostly through PartnerStack. Every partner link is labelled where it appears, on the tool page and on comparisons.

• A partner link never changes a price, a total, a ranking, a quiz result or what we say about a tool. Tools without a partner program are listed the same way.
• No vendor pays to be listed or to rank higher. Listing a tool is free: see For vendors.
• Vendors can pay $600 a year to manage where their listing’s buttons go. Those listings carry a “Verified by” badge, which changes no ranking, and their links replace our partner links.
• Vendors can pay for one featured spot per category, shown above the ranked table and marked “Sponsored”. It doesn’t change the ranking or anything else on the page.
• Vendors can also pay for one sponsored result per category, shown in quiz results and search only to visitors their tool is a strong fit for, and marked “Sponsored” with the reason it shows. It doesn’t change a ranking, a total or a quiz result.

Where the numbers come from

• Prices come from each vendor’s public pricing page, with the date we last checked them. How we calculate prices has the rules and worked examples.
• Review scores are each review site’s own published rating, shown site by site and never averaged. See how we show reviews.
• Connections between tools come from the vendors’ own integration pages, each recorded with the page we found it on.
• News comes from vendors’ changelogs, pricing pages and press releases. See how we pick news.

Vendors change prices and plans without notice. Check the vendor’s site before you buy.

Corrections

If a price, plan or fact is wrong, tell us and we’ll fix it. Vendors can write in too. We change the listing only when the vendor’s own public page backs the change. Write to hello@smb-stack.com for anything else.
