Starlink Business

SpaceX

Satellite internet for sites without cable or fiber

Starlink Business is satellite internet from SpaceX: a self-installed dish talks to low-orbit satellites, so it works where there is no cable or fiber, as long as the dish has a clear view of the sky. Local Priority starts at $55 a month for 50 GB of priority data, after which speed drops to up to 1 Mbps down and 0.5 Mbps up, and Starlink suggests the 500 GB plan at $155 for 2 to 4 users; the hardware costs $349 up front. Plans are month to month with no contract, a 30-day refund, a 99.9% network availability SLA and 24/7 priority support, and Starlink says its Performance Kit reaches download speeds up to 400+ Mbps (upload speeds are not published on its business pages). It suits rural shops, farms, trades yards and remote job sites, and works as a backup line for any business. A city office, shop or restaurant that can get cable or fiber will usually pay less for faster, uncapped service from a local provider.
