Tailscale
Private network for your team's devices, free for up to 6 users
Tailscale connects laptops, phones, and servers into one private network, so staff can reach office computers, file shares, or servers without opening ports or running a VPN server. Personal is free for up to 6 users; Standard is $8 per user a month and Premium $18. Tailscale is for small teams with a few machines to reach remotely; a business with nothing to connect does not need it.
Cost at your size
Team size
For 6 people: $48 a month.
Tailscale costs $20.55 more than the median security & passwords tool for 6 people ($27.45).
Tailscale pays for itself if it saves 1.5 hours a month at $30 an hour, our assumption.

A vendor that posts every small issue can show more incidents than one that posts few, so a low count doesn't prove fewer problems.
