Square Payroll runs payroll with tax filings for $35 a month plus $6 per person paid, and pays contractors only for $6 per person. It imports timecards and tips from Square POS, so hourly staff are paid from the hours they clocked. Square Payroll is for a shop or restaurant already on Square. A business that wants HR and benefits administration in the same bundle needs a different tool.
